Georgy Boos. Visit to Serbia, meetings in Belgrade
Georgy Boos participated in the official visit of V. V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, to Serbia as a member of the official Russian delegation consisting of ministers, heads of public departments and business executives.
During the visit, G. Boos, President of BL GROUP International Lighting Engineering Corporation (ILEC), signed four memorandums of cooperation on behalf of BL GROUP ILEC with the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of the Republic of Serbia, cities of Belgrade and Panchevo, and the School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade.
The delegation of BL GROUP ILEC headed by G. Boos had a series of meetings with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, business society of Serbia, President of the Football Association of Serbia and Director General of FC Crvena Zvezda.
Zoran Đorđević, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of the Republic of Serbia, signed an agreement with BL GROUP ILEC to be engaged in projects related to cultural heritage, war memorials and sites of Serbia, including the Cemetery of Belgrade Liberators https://www.minrzs.gov.rs/aktuelno/ministar-djordjevic-o-obnovi-i-osvetljenju-vojnih-memorijala-sa-ruskom-delegacijom.html
BL GROUP ILEC will also implement a crucial project on architecture and artistic highlighting of the main Serbia Temple – Church of Saint Sava. This project was discussed on the state visit sidelines by G. Boos and Serbian Patriarch Irinej.
At the meeting with Zoran Radojičić, mayor of Belgrade, the delegates agreed to ensure media coverage of a range of significant sites of the capital – Church of Saint Sava and Belgrade Fortress. The parties also discussed the prospects of cooperation on a unified light and color environment in Belgrade as a part of Smart City concept. The following meeting of the mayor, representatives of FC Crvena Zvezda and BL GROUP ILEC was very productive for all the participants. At the meeting with the administration of the University of Belgrade, in particular, with Milo Tomašević, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, the participants discussed opportunities of cooperation in training of light technicians.
In addition, personally invited by Aleksandar Vučić, G. Boos participated in the formal reception organized in the name of the President of the Republic of Serbia to honor the President of the Russian Federation, V. V. Putin. During the reception, G. Boos held a range of meetings with Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, Presidential Chief of Staff I. Kojić, Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia I. Antić and other members of the Serbian Cabinet of Ministers. BL GROUP ILEC was also agreed to participate in the projects implemented by Russia in Serbia (including those of Rosatom, Gazprom, Russian Railways and others).
