Illumination of the area adjacent to Hayastan Hotel Resort in Yerevan
Paronyan Street is yet another highway illuminated by BL GROUP in Yerevan. This winding street belongs to the ring that girdles the central district of Kentron. Our lighting equipment is installed on a segment of the street next to Hayastan Hotel Resort (hotel complex Dvin). The project was implemented jointly with the hotel administration, which is most interested in the technological improvement of the complex.
Modernization of lighting has become an important part of a wall-to-wall reconstruction of the hotel complex and the adjacent area of 1.8 hectares. Accommodation facilities are focused on international standards for five-star luxury hotels. The complex gathers additional infrastructure, including shops, clubs and restaurants, business and conference centers, a fitness club, a swimming pool and a SPA complex, as well as numerous recreational facilities.
The Dvin hotel complex was one of the best examples of hotel construction in the Soviet era. It was built in 1979 by architects F. Akopyan, A. Aleksanyan and E. Safaryan, who were awarded the state prize. The key element of decoration is red tuff, which is a part and parcel of the national architectural traditions and is widely used for historic buildings and cultural heritage sites in Armenia.
The design of the GALAD Wave LED luminaires emphasizes the dynamism of the area adjacent to the hotel.
