Founded in 1965. Based in Kadoshkino, Saransk, Republic of Mordovia.
The leader of the Russian Federation in the production of electromagnetic ballasts (EMPRA) and luminaries for agricultural purposes.
Kadoshkino Electrical Engineering Plant OJSC (KETZ) focuses on manufacturing lighting product for agriculture applications and electromagnetic start-control devices (EMPRA). The plant supplies its products to domestic agricultural sector. Its products are used to illuminate industrial and breeding greenhouses, winter gardens and orchard houses for growing vegetables, salads, flowers and other plants. The plant's range of products drastically simplifies selection of greenhouse equipment. Instead of trying to combine miscellaneous imported components greenhouse lighting specialists are now able to use integrated solutions based on the equipment manufactured by the plant.
Benefits of KETZ products for our fellow Russians are two-fold. Firstly, they have access to fresh domestically-grown vegetables. Secondly, proper illumination based on specific exposure spectrums improves quality of crops and reduces electricity and fertilizer costs.
Quality import phaseout is beneficial to the development of our country’s economy. In the case of greenhouse production, it makes life easier for the producers, speeds up logistics and provides consumer with access to fresh and affordable produce.
Solutions offered by KetZ are both integrated and time-tested. The plant’s focus on greenhouse lighting has been consistent from the moment of its establishment in 1965. After introducing its first greenhouse lighting fixture OT-400 in 1971, the plant has become the leading manufacturer of this type of products. In a way, the new lighting product has become a social phenomenon, since it has changed our dietary preferences. Having garden strawberry at a festive table was not something extraordinary.
The plant boasts cutting-edge continually modernized equipment owing to recurrent investments of International Lighting Engineering Corporation BL GROUP. Manufacturing processes are improved, product ranges are broadened; one thing remains unchanged, however, – traditions. Having survived transformation of state structures of the rough 1990s, passed through crises and trials, KETZ still pushes ahead at its initial location – Kadoshkino Settlement in Mordovia.
Horticulture technologies are developing as rapidly as lighting engineering. This is why KETZ invests its efforts into adapting features of its product to the ever-changing demands of the market. Productive collaboration with Russian agricultural producers helps us to maintain awareness of new developments.
Summarizing the above, it should be noted that complete cycle production, the expanding product range and the experience which numbers in whole work dynasties enables KETZ to enhance the quality of greenhouse lighting and respond to any demands by using the most advanced techniques.
